Applied Technologies Institute - Mandra
Established in 2006, ATIN Mandra works under patronage of prestigious “National Logistics Cell”. It is a technical and vocational training institute that trains young boys to make them technically skilled, mainly in construction technologies i.e. civil surveyor (12 month), Quantity Surveyor (6 months) Draftsman civil with and without Auto CAD (3 & 6 months) Building Electrician, Plumbing ,Welding, Mason Carpenter, Auto Mechanic & Auto Electrician. It also runs short (3 months) Operator courses on construction / earth moving machines like excavator wheel loader, Motor Grader, Road Roller and Crane etc.
The institute has so far produced above 15000 certificate holder young technicians mostly coming from rural regions of Pakistan. Spread over 29 acres of land right on (GT Road) N-5, ATIN Mandra can accommodate 1000 students in its three newly built hostels. Students are provided comfortable environment having sports internet, library mosque facilities besides student mess that serves delicious and nutrient food to its resident students. ATIN has employed over 30 qualified instructors mostly graduates including retired Army Engineer Corps Junior Commissioned / Non- Commissioned Officers on its faculty. The Institute is ISO 9001 : 2008 certified besides being affiliated and registered with National Training Beauru (NTB) Islambad and TEVTA / PBTE Lahore respectively. A recent tracer study has revealed that during last 3 years our 53% pass-outs got employed home and abroad.

The establishment of the institute is aimed at:

→ To produce skilled manpower equipped with market and demand driven competencies thus support government effort to reduce poverty and add value to human resource.
→ Inculcate professionalism and work ethics.
→ Promote good engineering practices.
→ Promote systematic skill development in line with international standards.
→ Augment the technical competent human resource Pool of NLC in particular and country in general.
