Transports Internationaux Routiers (TIR) Convention stands as a pivotal multilateral initiative designed to streamline and standardize the administrative procedures associated with global road transport. TIR boasts an impressive membership of 78 Contracting Parties globally, with an escalating trend as more nations express interest in affiliating with this transformative system. The National Logistics Corporation (NLC) initiated its first commercial TIR operation in 2021, establishing crucial land route links with Turkiye and Azerbaijan. Since this milestone, the NLC has been at the forefront of driving regional connectivity, steadily expanding its network to include China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan & Uzbekistan in its list of destinations.

With cross-stuffing and cross-docking services at Karachi ports, NLC saves detention charges and ports demurrages.
NLC offers cross-border Reefer Service to regional countries. The service provides the exporters with opportunity to transport perishable items in refrigerated containers. The transportation of such cargo under TIR system slashes the transit time and cost without compromising the quality of perishable items. Services for fresh produce, sea food, meat & frozen items, vegetables and fruits including bananas, kinnow, and mangoes are available to Central Asian Republics, China, Turkiye, Russia and Azerbaijan.
