About ATINs

Established in 2003, NLC's Applied Technologies Institutes (ATINs) are one of the leading technical and vocational training providers across Pakistan. Functioning as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, ATINs empower underprivileged youth by providing them with market-relevant skills through vocational and technical education. Delivered in collaboration with national and international organizations, ATINs diverse course offerings cater to various skill levels, ranging from those required for jobs in skilled labour to high-end technologies. Over 83,000 individuals from all over Pakistan have been trained in these institutes.

Our Commitment

At ATINs, quality and objectivity in training are of paramount importance besides post training ‘Enabling Employment’. Through hands-on training, we endeavour to meet national and international standards in technical education.

Accreditations & Affiliations

ATINs are accredited with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), registered with Provincial Technical Education and Vocational Training Authorities (TEVTAs) and affiliated with Trade Testing Boards (TTBs). All ATINs are ISO 9001:2015 certified. Furthermore, ATIN Dina is accredited with the International Road Transport Union (IRU) of Switzerland. Upon successful completion, ATIN Dina awards an internationally recognized IRU certificate (Crash Prevention and Defensive Driving Training) to drivers,  further enhancing the employability and qualifications of its graduates. ATIN Mandra, Dina and Amangarh are also City & Guilds UK approved centres.

Vocational Courses

ATINs cater to a wide range of career choices by offering vocational courses in more than forty different trades, with durations ranging from one to three years. ATINs stand out as the sole provider of heavy and light transport vehicle driving training across Pakistan. Additionally, they are among the few institutes offering specialized courses in heavy machinery operators, mechanical technologies, civil technologies, IT, electrical and construction technologies.

Local Programmes

Three years Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) affiliated with the Punjab Board of Technical Education (PBTE) is offered at ATIN Mandra. The degree is awarded by PBTE and the programme is equivalent to FSc. (Pre-engineering). The programme is offered in four technologies i.e., civil, mechanical, IT and Heating, Ventilation Air-conditioning & Refrigration (HVACR).

Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) Programmes

ATIN Mandra's Dual Diploma Split Education Programme, launched in October 2023, offers a unique exposure to students from an international perspective.

This programme allows students to complete the initial two years of studies at ATIN Mandra, receiving a solid foundation in their chosen field. Following this, they will study their final year at a Chinese counterpart institute, thereby getting exposure to a new culture and education environment.

Graduates of the programme will receive two degrees: one awarded by the Pakistan Board of Technical Education (PBTE) and the other from a designated Chinese college. This dual qualification is equivalent to  FSc. (Pre-engineering) diploma.

Fully Funded Scholarships:

To further enhance the programme's appeal, ATIN Mandra offers fully funded scholarships for the third year of study in China. These scholarships cover the tuition fees, accommodation and provide a monthly stipend for living expenses.

Programme Options:

Currently, the Dual Diploma Programme is offered in two specialized technology tracks:

• Internet of Things Application Technology (IoTAT): Partnering with Jiujiang Vocational & Technical College, this programme equips students with the skills to navigate the exciting world of the Internet of Things (IoT).

• Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation Technology (MMAT): Offered in collaboration with Jilin Vocational College of Industry and Technology, this programme delves into the world of mechanical manufacturing and automation, preparing students for the job market.
